Data protection
The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. I handle your personal data with complete confidentiality and in accordance with the legal data protection guidelines and this data protection statement.
When you use this website, the operator collects various types of personal data relating to you and your use of the website. Personal data is defined as any data in which you are personally identifiable. This data protection statement explains which types of data I collect and what it is used for. It also explains how and why this happens.
Please note that data security cannot always be guaranteed when transmitting data via the internet (e.g. in email communication). It is not possible to ensure that data is completely protected against access by third parties.
Information on the data controller
The data controller for data processing on this website is:
Svea Timander, Lisztallee 1A, 14612 Falkensee, Germany
Telephone: +49 (0)30 89427781
Email: info@timander.de
The data controller is the natural or legal person who, either independently or in conjunction with others, makes decisions on the purposes and methods of processing the personal data (e.g. names, email addresses etc.).
Withdrawing your consent for data processing
Many data processing actions can only be carried out with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that you provided in the past at any time. To do so, simply inform me by email. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of any data processing that took place prior to the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in specific circumstances and to direct marketing (art. 21 GDPR)
Where data processing is taking place based on art. 6, para. 1(e) or (f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons relating to your specific situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The legal basis on which your data is processed is explained in this data protection statement. If you submit an objection, we will cease to process your personal data unless there are overriding legitimate reasons to do so that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or where processing is essential for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection in accordance with art. 21, para. 1 GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for this purpose at any time; this also applies to profiling, where undertaken for direct marketing purposes. If you submit an objection, your personal data will no longer be processed for direct marketing purposes (objection in accordance with art. 21, para. 2 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority
In the event of a breach of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the member state in which they ordinarily reside, where they are employed, or where the alleged breach is believed to have taken place. This right to complain exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data that we process automatically, based on your consent or in performance of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format provided to you or a third party. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this will only take place if the transfer is technically feasible.
Information, restriction, erasure and rectification
The applicable legal regulations give you the right to request information on the personal data held on you free of charge at any time, as well as on its origins, recipients and the purpose of data processing. You may also have the right to request the rectification, restriction or erasure of this data. To do so, or if you have any questions on any other issues related to personal data, please do not hesitate to contact me at the address provided on the Site notice page.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. To do so, please contact me at the address provided on the Site notice page. The data subject has a right to restriction of processing in the following circumstances:
- If you believe that the personal data I hold on you is inaccurate, I will generally need some time to check this. While I perform these checks, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
- If your personal data was/is being processed in a way that does not comply with the law, you can request that the processing of your data be restricted instead of the data being erased.
- If I no longer need your personal data, but you need it to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of the data being erased.
- If you have submitted an objection in accordance with art. 21, para. 1 of the GDPR, your interests must be weighed up against mine. While we determine whose interests should take priority, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, your data may only be processed (in any way other than storage) with your consent or in the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or on the grounds of a significant public interest in the European Union or one of its member states.
Objection to marketing emails
The contact details disclosed on the Site notice page, as required by law, may not be used to send marketing and information materials that have not been explicitly requested.
